Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band was Green Day's second compilation album, gathering twenty songs from Kerplunk (1991) through to Revolution Radio (2016), from "2000 Light Years Away" and "Longview" to "Bang Bang" and "Still Breathing". It also carried two new recordings: the previously unreleased "Back In The USA" and a new version of "Ordinary World" with country singer Miranda Lambert. The title came from a joke by Stephen Colbert, who called the band "God's favorite band" on The Late Show in March 2017. The compilation originally appeared in November 2017.
