Green Day
Green Day formed in 1987 in Berkeley, California, around singer-guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt, with drummer Tré Cool joining a few years later. Dookie (1994) carried the band from the punk club 924 Gilman Street to the charts worldwide, and a decade on the rock opera American Idiot turned a pop-punk group into a stadium act with a political message. In between and since came the acoustic turn of Nimrod, the quieter Warning, the ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré! trilogy and the return to short, hard songs on Saviors (2024). Green Day were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
This collection brings together Green Day on vinyl, LP and CD: the studio albums, anniversary editions with demos and live recordings, coloured pressings and compilations.
