Lust for Life was Iggy Pop's second solo album and originally appeared in 1977, six months after The Idiot. It was recorded quickly at the Hansa studio in Berlin, with David Bowie co-writing and co-producing and with brothers Hunt and Tony Sales as the rhythm section. Where The Idiot is slow and cold, this is a fast, drum-driven rock record: the title track, "The Passenger", "Tonight" and "Success" are among the best known songs of his entire career.
