Buckley, known for his album Grace, was renowned for his wide vocal range and his restrained but intense stage performances. The set contains his own songs alongside covers he liked to perform. His guitar playing and vocals are central to the spare performances. The recording is one of the documents of his short career, which ended in 1997 with his early death.
