In November and December 1978, at ABBA's Polar Studios in Stockholm, Led Zeppelin recorded their last studio album with John Bonham. John Paul Jones left the strongest mark on it: his Yamaha GX-1 synthesiser sets the colour of 'In the Evening', 'Carouselambra' and 'All My Love', which Robert Plant wrote after the death of his son Karac. Alongside those are the shuffle 'Fool in the Rain' with its samba breakdown and the rockabilly joke 'Hot Dog'. The album originally came out in August 1979 on Swan Song, wrapped in six different brown paper sleeves that were sealed in the shop, so buyers did not know which variant they were taking home. This edition is an LP.
