A Saucerful of Secrets originally appeared in June 1968 and was Pink Floyd's second studio album. It is the only album on which all five band members can be heard: Syd Barrett still played on some recordings while David Gilmour gradually replaced him. Barrett's final contribution to the group, "Jugband Blues", closes the album. The near twelve-minute title piece is largely instrumental, built from free percussion, organ and feedback. Richard Wright sang "Remember a Day" and "See-Saw", and Roger Waters wrote "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun", which stayed in the live set for years afterwards. This edition is an LP in the original mono mix.
