Sheer Heart Attack is Queen's third studio album, originally released in 1974. After the heavier Queen II they let in more pop feeling here without dropping the hard rock; breakthrough single Killer Queen reached number two in the United Kingdom and gave the band their first US top 20 entry. The album jumps from the sturdy opener Brighton Rock and Now I'm Here to the music-hall styled Bring Back That Leroy Brown. AllMusic describes it as "a brilliant tour-de-force that married the progressive rock of Queen II with a pop sensibility".
