Brave New World was the third album by the Steve Miller Band, originally released in 1969. It was the first album made after founding members Boz Scaggs and Jim Peterman left, with Ben Sidran coming in on keyboards. Its best known song is Space Cowboy, which set up one of Miller's recurring characters. Closing track My Dark Hour was cut with Paul McCartney, who played drums, bass, guitar, and backing vocals under the alias Paul Ramon. That session happened at Olympic Studios in May 1969, after McCartney stayed behind following an argument with the other Beatles over their business management. Miller reused the guitar riff from it years later on the title track of Fly Like An Eagle. This edition is an LP.
