After their 2008 reunion Stone Temple Pilots recorded the self-titled album that originally came out in May 2010, their first new work since Shangri-La Dee Da in 2001. The band went back to short, melodic rock songs with a clear sixties streak, audible in Between the Lines, Take a Load Off and Cinnamon. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number 2 and Between the Lines went to number 1 on the US Rock Songs chart. It remained the last studio album with singer Scott Weiland, who parted ways with the band in 2013. This edition is an LP on red vinyl.
