Prelude to Ecstasy is the debut album by British indie rock band The Last Dinner Party, released on 2 February 2024 via Island Records. Produced by James Ford, it features the singles Nothing Matters, Sinner, My Lady of Mercy, On Your Side and Caesar on a TV Screen. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and received a nomination for the 2024 Mercury Prize. The music combines baroque pop, art rock and glam rock with theatrical arrangements. The album established the band as one of the most striking names in British guitar music.
