Restless Heart started out as David Coverdale's third solo album, but at the record company's insistence it originally appeared in 1997 under the name David Coverdale & Whitesnake. It is a more restrained and bluesy album than the arena hard rock of ten years earlier, with Adrian Vandenberg as regular writing partner and songs such as Too Many Tears, Don't Fade Away and the title track. In the United Kingdom it made the top 40; in the United States it was not released at the time. For the twenty-fifth anniversary the album was remixed, closer to the sound Coverdale had in mind. This edition is a 2-LP on silver vinyl.
