Whitesnake

Whitesnake began in 1978 as David Coverdale's vehicle, shortly after he left Deep Purple. The early years sounded bluesy and British, with albums like Ready an' Willing and Slide It In, until the line-up built around guitarist John Sykes pushed the sound towards arena hard rock. The self-titled album from 1987, released in Europe as 1987, produced Here I Go Again, Is This Love and Still of the Night and went eight times platinum in the United States. Slip of the Tongue with Steve Vai followed, then the return with Good to Be Bad and Forevermore, and in 2019 the thirteenth and final studio album Flesh & Blood.
