In 1975 Fleetwood Mac acquired its best-known line-up: Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined Christine McVie, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. The self-titled album that originally appeared that year — the band's tenth studio album, not to be confused with the 1968 blues debut — moved the sound from British blues towards California pop with three lead voices. 'Over My Head' and 'Say You Love Me' became hits, while 'Rhiannon' and 'Landslide' turned into fixtures of every show. The album climbed slowly and reached number one on the US chart in 1976.
