Music for Film & Television is a compilation album of work by American composer Angelo Badalamenti, originally released in 2010 on Varèse Sarabande. Badalamenti (1937-2022) became best known for his long collaboration with director David Lynch. The compilation contains themes from Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, Wild at Heart and The Straight Story, among others. The pieces were recorded by the Brussels Philharmonic and the Orchestra of Flanders conducted by Dirk Brossé. The music combines orchestral film themes with jazz influences and the dreamlike atmosphere that characterises his work for Lynch.
