ZZ Top

ZZ Top is the trio from Houston that played in the same line-up for more than fifty years: Billy Gibbons (guitar, vocals), Dusty Hill (bass, vocals), and Frank Beard (drums). The foundation is Texas blues and boogie, with La Grange and Tush from Tres Hombres and Fandango! as early landmarks. In the early eighties synthesizers and sequencers were added, and Eliminator (1983) turned ZZ Top into a worldwide act with Gimme All Your Lovin', Sharp Dressed Man, and Legs, plus the MTV videos featuring the red Ford coupe. From Recycler (1990) onwards the sound shifted back towards the rawer blues of the early years. Dusty Hill died in 2021 and guitar tech Elwood Francis took over on bass; Frank Beard died in August 2026.

This collection brings together ZZ Top on vinyl, LP and CD: classics such as Tres Hombres, Degüello, and Eliminator, compilations, and the live recordings from the documentary That Little Ol' Band from Texas.
