Space Invader originally came out in 2014, five years after Anomaly, as Ace Frehley's fourth solo album. It entered the Billboard 200 at number 9, the highest US chart placing any solo record by a KISS member has reached. Alongside originals such as "Gimme A Feelin'", "Toys" and "Inside The Vortex" there is a version of the Steve Miller Band's "The Joker". The sleeve was painted by Ken Kelly, who had earlier done the covers for the KISS albums Destroyer and Love Gun.

This edition is a 2-LP on transparent cobalt blue vinyl, issued as a limited reissue.
