Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is Blink-182's fourth studio album and the first punk rock album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200. Jerry Finn, who had also produced Enema of the State, recorded it at Signature Sound in San Diego. The songs stay close to teenage life: first-date nerves in First Date, a night at the rock club in The Rock Show and, much heavier, a divorce seen through a child's eyes in Stay Together for the Kids. Those three songs also became the singles. The album was originally released in 2001 on MCA Records, the band's last release on that label. This edition adds six vault tracks that were originally scattered across different releases, including Time To Break Up and Mother's Day.

This edition is a 2-LP on silver grey vinyl, the 25th anniversary edition.
