Burnin' was originally released in October 1973, six months after Catch a Fire, and was the last album with the original line-up of Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer. It opens with Get Up, Stand Up, written by Marley and Tosh, and holds I Shot the Sheriff, which Eric Clapton turned into a number 1 hit in the United States a year later. Also on it: Burnin' and Lootin', Small Axe, and Duppy Conqueror (new versions of recordings from the Lee Perry period) and the closing Rasta Man Chant on nyabinghi percussion. Bunny Wailer sings Hallelujah Time and Pass It On; One Foundation is Tosh's.

This edition is an LP on 180 gram vinyl.
