Uprising was originally released in June 1980 and was the last studio album Bob Marley put out in his lifetime. It closes with Redemption Song, just Marley with an acoustic guitar, written when he already knew he was ill; the line about "mental slavery" is taken from a speech by Marcus Garvey. Alongside it: Could You Be Loved, with a disco groove that became the album's biggest hit, Coming In from the Cold, Zion Train, and Forever Loving Jah. The 1980 European tour that went with it was his last.

This edition is an LP.
