Closer to the Truth is the twenty-fifth studio album by American singer Cher, released in 2013. It was her first studio album since Living Proof from 2001. The record leans on dance-pop and electronic pop, complemented by ballads and pop rock. The single 'Woman's World' became a number 1 hit on the American Billboard Dance Club Songs chart; 'I Hope You Find It' was also released as a single. Producers such as Paul Oakenfold and Mark Taylor contributed to the album, and Pink co-wrote the song 'I Walk Alone'. Closer to the Truth debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200, at the time the highest chart position for a Cher solo album in the United States.
