Everyday Life was Coldplay's eighth studio album and originally came out in 2019 as a double album split into two halves, Sunrise and Sunset. It was recorded more loosely and more roughly than the work before it, with gospel choirs, brass, strings, and vocals in Arabic and Persian. Orphans and Everyday Life were released as singles, while Trouble in Town and Guns deal with police violence and gun ownership. On release Coldplay played the album in two concerts in Amman, at sunrise and at sunset, both streamed live.
