Stars: The Best of 1992-2002 gathers ten years of The Cranberries: 'Dreams' and 'Linger' from the debut, 'Zombie' and 'Ode to My Family' from No Need to Argue, and later work such as 'Promises', 'Analyse', and 'Time Is Ticking Out'. The compilation originally appeared in 2002 and holds two new recordings, 'New New York' and the title track 'Stars'. Shortly afterwards the band put its work on hold for several years.
