Weapon Of Choice is a collection of demos by the British rock band The Cult, originally released digitally in 2012. The recordings form an early version of the album Choice of Weapon and were produced by Chris Goss before Bob Rock finished the definitive record. The songs present the material in a rawer, unfinished state, driven by the trademark pairing of singer Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy. The set offers a window into the band's writing and recording process. Its mood is darker and more direct than the eventual studio versions.
