Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) is a studio album by the British musician David Bowie, originally released in 1980. It is regarded as the close of his experimental period and combines art rock with sharper, more direct songs. The single 'Ashes to Ashes' revisits the Major Tom character from 'Space Oddity', while 'Fashion' and the title track stand out for the angular guitar work of Robert Fripp. The lyrics are darker and more self-reflective in tone. The album formed a bridge between Bowie's 1970s work and his later, more commercial direction. This edition is an LP on black vinyl.
