Allemansplein was a studio album by De Dijk and originally dates from 2014. The Amsterdam band, formed around Huub van der Lubbe, made Dutch-language rhythm and blues, soul and rock with horns. The album contained fourteen songs, including Alles komt goed, featuring Thomas Acda, and the title track Allemansplein (wat het nooit was). Thematically, the album dealt with city life, love and impermanence. De Dijk had been active for over thirty years at that point.
