Buhloone Mindstate is De La Soul's third album and first appeared in 1993, again with Prince Paul at the controls. The group went for quieter, jazz-leaning production, with horns from Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, and Pee Wee Ellis, and set aside the pressure to repeat the hits of the first two albums. Breakadawn and Ego Trippin' (Part Two) were released as singles.
