Where's the Revolution reads as a reproach aimed at an audience that keeps watching, Going Backwards lists what is going wrong, and The Worst Crime and Poorman deal with guilt and inequality. The fourteenth studio album, originally from 2017, was the first collaboration with producer James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco, who made the sound drier and more direct than on its predecessor Delta Machine. Cover Me breaks the mood with a long, drifting synthesizer outro. The artwork is by Anton Corbijn, who has shaped the band's image since the eighties. This edition is a 2LP with an etching on the fourth side.
