Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode started out in Basildon in 1980 with cheap synthesizers and a handful of bright pop singles. After Vince Clarke left following Speak & Spell, Martin Gore took over the songwriting and steered the band towards darker ground: the industrial clatter of Construction Time Again, the black romance of Black Celebration and Music for the Masses, and the worldwide breakthrough of Violator in 1990 with Personal Jesus and Enjoy the Silence. The range stayed wide after that, from the guitars and gospel touches of Songs of Faith and Devotion to the electronic blues of Delta Machine. Following the death of co-founder Andy Fletcher in 2022, Dave Gahan and Martin Gore recorded Memento Mori as a duo. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.

This collection brings together Depeche Mode on vinyl, LP and CD: reissues of the studio albums, live and remix releases, and compilations spanning more than forty years.
