The Lost Children gathers the B-sides, bonus tracks, and covers Disturbed recorded around their studio albums between 2000 and 2010. Alongside originals such as Hell, Monster, and Sickened it holds two covers: Faith No More's Midlife Crisis and Judas Priest's Living After Midnight. The compilation first appeared in 2011, shortly before the band went on hiatus, and shows what was written outside the albums during that decade.

This edition is a 2-LP, issued for Record Store Day in a run of 4,000 copies.
