Eagles Live gathers recordings from two periods: the four nights at The Forum in Los Angeles in October 1976 and the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in the summer of 1980. The double album originally appeared in November 1980, by which time the band had already split, and Don Henley and Glenn Frey finished the vocal parts from opposite coasts. Seven Bridges Road, a Steve Young song the band used as an a cappella warm-up, became the single. Hotel California, Take It to the Limit, Life in the Fast Lane and Joe Walsh's Life's Been Good are also in the set. This edition is a remastered 2-LP in a gatefold sleeve, with poster and insert.
