Hell Freezes Over marked the return of the Eagles, fourteen years after the split. It combines four new studio songs, Get Over It, Love Will Keep Us Alive, The Girl from Yesterday and Learn to Be Still, with live recordings from the MTV special the band taped in Burbank in April 1994, featuring Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit and Don Felder. That set also carries the acoustic rearrangement of Hotel California, with a flamenco-flavoured intro that has led a life of its own ever since. The album originally came out in 1994 and went to number one in the United States. This edition is a 2-LP.
