Selected Works 1972-1999 is the retrospective box set with which the Eagles closed out their first quarter century. The four discs are arranged by theme rather than chronology: one of early material, one of ballads, one of the harder-edged songs, and finally The Millennium Concert, the full recording of the New Year's Eve 1999 show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Alongside the familiar singles it carries rarer recordings, among them Born to Boogie and Long Run Leftovers. The box originally appeared in 2000. This edition is a set of four CDs.
