Memphis is a compilation gathering Elvis Presley's recordings made in his home city: from his early Sun sessions of 1954 and 1955, through American Sound Studio in 1969 and the Stax sessions of 1973, to his final recordings at Graceland. It draws together tracks such as 'That's All Right', 'Mystery Train', 'In the Ghetto', 'Suspicious Minds', 'Promised Land' and 'Way Down'. Released in 2024 on Legacy Recordings, it presents newly mixed versions of part of the material, stripped of the overdubs added later.
