Unfinished Business is a posthumous collection of recordings by Eric Carr, born Paul Charles Caravello, who was part of KISS from 1980 until his death in 1991 as its drummer and stage figure 'The Fox'. After the solo album Rockology, this is the second posthumous release drawn from his archive, originally issued in 2011 at the initiative of his sister Loretta Caravello. The collection brings together rarely heard material: unreleased original work, demos, live recordings and spoken segments in which Carr himself features, such as the opening 'Eric Speaks to the Fans'. It also includes material going back to his time around KISS, among them the instrumental 'Carr Jam 1981'. Together it paints a portrait of Carr as a musician and a person, in the hard rock and heavy metal he played throughout his career.
