‘Precious Little Diamond’ was originally released in 1984 as the second single from In The Dark Of The Nite, the debut album by Dutch funk band Fox The Fox. It became a hit in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and the United Kingdom, among others. The arrangement leans on tight bass guitar, synthesizers and a chorus that sticks, post-disco of the kind DJs happily worked with in those years. The original 12-inch paired the seven-minute special remix with reworkings by Shep Pettibone and Ben Liebrand. This edition is a 12-inch maxi-single on crystal clear vinyl.
