On 31 October 1978 Frank Zappa closed his annual run of Halloween shows at the Palladium in New York. This release gathers the highlights of that night, newly mixed from the original twenty-four-track tapes. The band included singer-guitarist Ike Willis, slide guitarist Denny Walley, keyboard players Tommy Mars and Peter Wolf, bassist Arthur Barrow, percussionist Ed Mann and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. Alongside 'Dancin' Fool' and 'Easy Meat' it carries the complete 'Don't Eat The Yellow Snow' suite, closing with 'Black Napkins / The Deathless Horsie'. This edition is a 2-LP on blood red splatter vinyl.
