In 1980 Frank Zappa and his band of the time played a full set at the Mudd Club, the small New York room at the centre of the no wave and post-punk scene. Zappa '80: Mudd Club contains that performance, which only came out of the archive in 2023. Across 'Chunga's Revenge', 'Outside Now', 'Joe's Garage' and 'The Meek Shall Inherit Nothing' you hear a band used to large halls playing in a club space. The line-up included singers Ike Willis and Ray White, keyboard player Tommy Mars and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. This edition is a 2-LP, cut at 45 rpm.
