The American singer-songwriter made it with producer Aaron Dessner of The National, giving it restrained, folk-tinged pop with delicate guitar and piano parts. Across sixteen songs like 'Best', 'Where Do We Go Now?' and 'I Should Hate You' she sings about doubt, break-ups and the aftermath of relationships. Her soft, close-miked vocals sit at the centre of the spare production.
