At the time it was the longest studio album in their catalogue, with ample room for extended compositions such as 'Isle of Avalon', 'The Talisman' and the closing 'When the Wild Wind Blows'. Ahead of it, 'El Dorado' appeared as a free download single; the song won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. The opening piece 'Satellite 15... The Final Frontier' sets the tone with a long, atmospheric build-up.
