Chasing Trane is the soundtrack to John Scheinfeld's documentary of the same name about the life of John Coltrane. The sequence moves across his whole career, from 'Russian Lullaby' and 'Trane's Slo Blues' in the 1950s through 'Giant Steps' and 'Moment's Notice' to 'Alabama' and the opening part of A Love Supreme. Live versions of 'I Want To Talk About You' and 'Chasin' the Trane' are here too, along with 'My One and Only Love' featuring singer Johnny Hartman. The set appeared in 2017 through Impulse!.
