The Asylum Albums, Part I (1972-1975) gathers the first run of records Joni Mitchell made for Asylum Records. The box holds 'For the Roses' (1972), her commercial breakthrough 'Court and Spark' (1974), the live album 'Miles of Aisles' (1974) and 'The Hissing of Summer Lawns' (1975). Together they trace how, within a few years, she moved from folk singer-songwriter towards music that leaned ever closer to jazz. The albums are collected here in remastered form.
