Live in Los Angeles '90 captures a Judas Priest show at the Foundations Forum in Los Angeles on 13 September 1990, shortly after Painkiller had appeared. With Scott Travis behind the drums the band was playing faster and harder than ever, and the set places new material such as Leather Rebel and Between the Hammer and the Anvil alongside older songs like Grinder, Heading Out to the Highway, and The Green Manalishi. Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, and K.K. Downing close with Hell Bent for Leather and You've Got Another Thing Comin'. The recording had previously only been available on CD, inside the 50 Heavy Metal Years of Music box set.

This edition is a Record Store Day LP on transparent purple vinyl, pressed in an edition of 4,900.
