Off the Soundboard: Tokyo 2001 captures the concert KISS gave on 13 March 2001 at the Tokyo Dome, during the Farewell Tour. At the time the band consisted of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Eric Singer, who had recently replaced Peter Criss and took over the Catman persona; this lineup had never before appeared officially on a live album. The set drew from across the band's catalogue. The release came out in 2021 as the first installment in the Off the Soundboard series.
