After seventeen years Elly Jackson's relationship fell apart, and that ending sits at the heart of Old Flames, La Roux's fourth album and the first since 2020's Supervision. She wrote, produced and arranged the eleven songs herself. Besides the breakdown of that relationship, the lyrics deal with addiction and with working out identity and sexuality while the outside world looks on. Cabin Fever was the first single, followed by Lose Myself and Babyline. The album opens with an intro and closes with the title track.

This edition is an LP.
