A Matter of Time won the Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, Laufey's second win in that category after Bewitched. On her third studio album, released in 2025, the Icelandic-Chinese singer-songwriter blends jazz, orchestral pop and bossa nova, with a more personal and vulnerable tone than on her earlier work. She made the album with longtime collaborator Spencer Stewart and with Aaron Dessner of The National. Singles include 'Silver Lining', 'Tough Luck' and 'Lover Girl'.
