Papercuts gathers Linkin Park's singles from 2000 to 2023, from "One Step Closer" and "Crawling" to "Numb", "What I've Done", "New Divide" and "Lost". The twenty tracks run past every turn the band took, from nu metal through alternative rock to the electronic and pop-oriented albums. New to this collection were "Friendly Fire", recorded during the One More Light sessions and only released in 2024, and the rare "Qwerty", which had previously appeared only on a fan club EP.
