Reanimation is the remix album on which Linkin Park had the whole of Hybrid Theory rebuilt in 2002 by guest producers and rappers from hip-hop and electronic music. Mike Shinoda himself, The Alchemist, Evidence, Josh Abraham, Jay Gordon of Orgy and Kutmasta Kurt reworked the tracks, with contributions from Chali 2na, Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Aceyalone and Jonathan Davis of Korn among others. Titles such as "Pts.OF.Athrty", "Frgt/10" and "Krwlng" point back to the originals, but the arrangements were rebuilt from the ground up. The album entered at number 2 in the United States.
