Best Day Ever was the mixtape that brought Mac Miller a wide audience in 2011, originally handed out as a free download. The tone is sunny and light: soulful samples, brisk tempos and the self-mockery of a nineteen-year-old from Pittsburgh who was only just noticing how fast things were moving. Donald Trump became his first big hit; Wear My Hat and the title track belong to the early work his audience followed him for. Miller produced much of this material himself, together with Pittsburgh's ID Labs. For the fifth-anniversary edition the mixtape was remastered and expanded with the bonus track BDE Bonus. This edition is a 2-LP, the remastered anniversary edition.
