On its second studio album Machine Head held on to the groove metal of Burn My Eyes, but hit harder and slower. The More Things Change..., originally from March 1997 on Roadrunner Records, is the last album with guitarist Logan Mader and the first with drummer Dave McClain. Ten Ton Hammer and Take My Scars are the songs that stuck, with Robb Flynn's shouted vocals over down-tuned riffs pounding at half speed. The album reached number 138 on the Billboard 200. This edition is an LP.
