Baggy Trousers became the band's playground anthem, Embarrassment turns a painful family story into Motown-styled horns, and the instrumental The Return of the Los Palmas 7 shows how tight the seven-piece line-up had become. Around those sit smaller songs such as E.R.N.I.E., Solid Gone and Take It or Leave It, written by almost every member of the band. The second studio album originally came out in 1980 on Stiff Records and, like its predecessor, reached number two on the UK album chart.
